It’s been a funny week with rain, wind, sun and mist. I’ve painted on my iPad each day whatever.

Quite a lot of practice doing mist this week! #APAD
The last of April’s iPad paintings, and for the most part, it’s been a misty week.
Sunny, but windy or misty too. #APAD
There’s been some lovely weather this week, but some strong winds and mist too.

We’re still getting lovely seas with this mild autumn.
A bumper upload of holiday paintings and other stuff
I’ve had a full August. I’ve been away to Scarborough and Brittany as well have having a lovely staycation with Nicky. Lots of painting too.
A busy week #APAD
Quite a busy time this week, but I’m continuing to make my daily painting, even if I’m posting them a bit late. Two of the images have been made from the train. It’s been important to me that they are made on the journey, relying on memory rather than relying on a photograph.
Thoughts on the horizon. #APAD
Lots going on this week. I’ve been loving the colours of the sea, and seem to want to keep painting the horizon. Oh yeah, and an amazing birthday trip to see the Matisse cut outs at the Tate Modern.
Developing a more poster-like style of painting on the iPad
Each week I set myself a mini theme, which I usually don’t follow. For most of the week I’ve seeing how much detail I can leave out, but still have the subject of the image clear. I hope you think it’s working OK.
