The view of the sea never ceases to amaze me.

Pauline, the next WAG to be painted
This is my latest painting in the Codgers and WAGs series. It’s Pauline Lee. Getting her partner Mike may be more of a problem. He’s only a part-time Old Codger as he lives in Australia.

John #Codgers&WAGS
John Donaldson is the next Old Codger to be subjected to one of my portraits.
A new Old Codger, a new WAG and one old-timer
I’m really getting into these portraits of my friends, colloquially known as the Old Codgers and the WAGs. I know Peter Blundell well, but I’ve only recently met Richard and Mary. Peter, I’ve imagined as a Greek God in deep thought. I’ve chosen to base my portraits of Richard and Mary on first impressions. Richard, I see as an enigmatic dandy and Mary, his wife, cosmopolitan and cultured.
If you know me, watch out, you may be next!
And I've done a painting of Lotte
It’s pronounced Lottie

A new portrait, and more iPad paintings #APAD
I have made a painting of my friend Marylyn Edwards. It’s looking like my Codgers and Wags series might actually happen!
I’m told that the Jack-up barge is likely to be at #HastingsPier for another 7 – 10 days. This is a once in a lifetime event, so I will keep recording it with daily paintings.
My Friends and other paintings
Here’s three more paintings of my friends. If you know me, watch out, you may be next!!
Jack-up barge and other paintings
The excitement in Hastings at the moment is that the Jack-up barge has arrived to help with the repair of Hastings Pier. You can expect lots of painting of it in the next few weeks.
2 new portraits
Even with the daily iPad paintings I still get to the studio. At the moment I am making portraits on stainless steel panels.
