Nicky did the 5km Race for Life today, but it’s not too late to donate. Just click here to got to her donation page.
(That’s not Nicky running. I was trying to do the winner of the 5k, but only got a split second to capture her).

This week I had no theme planned, but none the less I seem to have made quite a lot of paintings about windows this week.
The sea seems to have changed colour this week. I’ve been using bright turquoises and rich warm purply blues.
This week I’ve been experimenting with different drawing and painting Apps. It always takes a while to get used to a new program. Here are some of the better results.
I’ve been loving the weather this week. Plenty of opportunity to perfect subtle colour variations of sky and sea. Then lightning fast sketches at Beatles Day 15 at the weekend.
Bit late posting this week’s paintings. As you can see there’s been some mission slippage with Wednesday’s painting happening in a café, where it turned out I couldn’t actually see the sea. Next week I’m in Marrakech, so I doubt the paintings I make there will have all that much sea in them either.
