I’ve been creating this painting for the last 2 months. I got it finished just before starting a 6 day course at the CityLit on Colour mixing for oil painters. I’ll be interested to see how the colours in the next one change.

Here’s my latest portrait. It’s legendary DJ, The Spin Doctor, or Jim Kemp to his friends.
My stylus broke, so I had to draw this one with my finger. It’s ended up less accurate, but looser, so perhaps more interesting.
Sophie sat again for her portrait yesterday.
