Our family holiday this year was to Scarborough. We stayed at Scarborough Fair, which was lovely. Here are some paintings I made whilst there.

There’s a new café just opposite Warrior Square on the beach front in St Leonards. Here’s a picture I drew of it yesterday.

I will be taking part in the exhibition ‘4 on the Shore’ (4ontheshore.co.uk) in August with C June Barnes, Donna Fleming Hall and Alison Purdy. As well as our normal art work, we will each be producing something on the theme 4 on the Shore. Here’s mine.

Inspired by the BBC4 program on Norman Ackroyd http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b01rd35q, I stood on the Harbour Arm in Hastings today when the seas were very heavy and the wind very strong to make this drawing.

The light was so odd on the way to the studio last Tuesday, I just had to paint it.

Yesterday I was in London for my colour mixing course. It was a lovely sunny day and I saw this row of red phone boxes.
