This year I’ve been making an iPad painting each day. Pretty much all the rules I set myself about how I was going to make the painting have gone by the wayside, except that it’s always digital, and is every day. Initially I was spending a about 30 minutes on each painting, but now that’s gone by the wayside too, and they vary hugely in the time taken. They are almost always painted from life.
